Sara at 9 Months

I was a bit more punctual about getting the 9 month pictures of Sara than I have been of the past couple months. Health is a beautiful thing.

Sara had definitely gotten big. She is 30 inches long (once again, significantly above the 97th percentile), weighs 22 lb 5 oz (95%) and her head is 95% as well. But it's more fun how interactive she is and how her little personality is developing.

Sara almost always sits with her feet crossed. It doesn't help so much with balance, but it is adorable. Fortunately she has learned to compensate and I feel comfortable sitting her down pretty much anywhere.
Her favorite trick is to do "YAY". She claps her hands regularly and if she happens to be lying down she will also clap her feet. She has remarkably expressive feet.
She is still not independently mobile. She only rotates on her tummy (her tummy being the axis and her body rotating around it) and rolls around. We're hoping for independent movement soon. My back is quite tired of being her mobility and she has gotten bored with sitting still. Fortunately, she does do really well in her walker. She loves to explore and chase after her sister.

She is eating better again...as long as I dress up her food. She likes veggies as long as they are mixed with gravy or butter and salt. She is also a big fan of yogurt. What can I say?! The girl has taste!
