This time, I thought I'd put down our favorite places to eat and our favorite shows to watch.
As far as eating goes, we try to eat really well and drink a lot while in the park The kids (and us) are just happier that way. If you can plan it out ahead of time, you can call Disney Dining the day before and make reservations. It's 10 times easier and faster than just putting your name on a list and waiting. The number is (714) 781-3463 and yes, it is saved in both of our cell phones. Sad but true! Our favorite places to eat are:
Disneyland
- Plaza Inn (Fried chicken for adults and noodles for the kids and FREE drink refills)
- Carnation Cafe (especially for breakfast and FREE refills) - Takes reservations
- Cafe Orleans (Crepes, salmon, Monte Cristo sandwich, etc. and FREE refills) - Takes reservations
- Rancho del Zocalo - good mexican in cafeteria style and free drink refills
- Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta (drink refills) and the accompanying Mediterranean Food (get the chicken)
- Corn Dog Castle for the best hand dipped corn dog
- If you are doing a "princess character" meal, we recommend the lunch
- Fantasmic: is unpredictable where there will be reserved seating, but if you can, go to the stroller parking across from Haunted Mansion or just below it far enough from the smoking section that you can breathe
- World of Color: the blue section where we usually get seating you need to go an hour early and stand just below the wheelchair seating
- Disneyland Soundsational Parade: 30 minutes early by the Kings and Queens bathrooms (near Alice in Wonderland)
- Aladdin: 20 minutes early and every seat is good
It was one of the best trips yet! I can't wait to go back. I'm really afraid that January won't come soon enough!!!
