First Day 2016-2017 School Year

First day of school pictures for the 2016-2017 School year.

Laura is in 8th Grade and still at American Fork Junior High.

Rosie is in 4th Grade at Barratt and has Mrs Brown.

Eliza is in 2nd Grade and got one of Rosie's favorite teachers, Mrs Young.  

Eliza's Alice Birthday Party

Eliza wanted to do an Mad Tea Party birthday party just like Rosie had done! It wasn't hard to repeat, and we had a great time.

Guests found our house with balloons and signs.

We began with "The Queen Says" while the guests were still arriving.

The we divided into groups to make hats or play croquet.

They had a lovely "tea" with all Eliza's favorites wearing their fancy hats and Entertained by Jason.

She opened presents cooling off indoors.  Then the kids played "Follow the White Rabbit" in rabbit ears from the dollar store.

Finally, she had cake indoors and we sent the kids home with their ears, hats, and a fun sucker.  

Laura as Amaryllis in Music Man at Sundance

Laura was cast as "Amaryllis" in Music Man that played all summer at Sundance Summer Theater.  She got to work with professors and professionals and had an amazing experience.  She learned so much from all of them.

She made many new friends and it was a show that we all loved going to again and again.

Another bonus was that she got paid for acting in this one.  So proud of this girl!

Eliza at 7 Years Old

Eliza's birthday from us was a lot of her favorites.  She picked her favorite meal of spaghetti and meatballs.  She received her first CD (Meghan Trainor) lots of dressups including a Minnie Mouse apron to help Mom cook.  The biggest treat was that her sisters let her get her ears pierced a year early to avoid the horrible clip on earrings from team.

Eliza is still wonderfully snuggly, super spunky and has more friends than she can count.  She still loves her skirts, but is transitioning into jeans.  Eliza will always pick fruit as her favorite food.  She is hilarious and makes us all smile daily.  How we all love Eliza!
