X-Men 3

Thanks to Melinda's connections, we got to go see X-Men 3 in a private theater at Thanksgiving Point. The other X-Men movies did a great job at delivering good mindless fun, and the third installment is no exception.

The movie was a little on the short side (only 1 hr. 44 min.), but any longer would have been unnecessary and would have detracted from the quick pace and special effects that made the movie so fun to watch. As with any comic book turned movie, the writers and directors took liberties with the storyline and some of the mutant's powers but created a very enjoyable story that was fun to watch.

Melinda heard on the radio that this was going to be the last X-Men movie, but I hope not. I think the X-Men franchise could be just a like the Bond franchise and they could make movie after movie if they wanted to.

I'd give it a B+ and recommend you go see it if you're looking for some good mindless entertainment.
