Laura's Play: Rapunzel

This spring, my mom pointed out to me in the city newsletter that comes with our bill, that there were auditions for children's youth theater's summer production. As soon as I could, I called and scheduled Laura for an audition. Amazingly (well, not too amazingly if you know my exceptional, performance loving, wonderful singing, fantastic reading, Laura) she got in and played the part of a "glumpwart" in "Let Your Hair Down, Rapunzel"
She practiced every morning through the month of July. It was a big commitment, but she loved it. My big commitment was to the costume committee. She learned so much and made wonderful friends. What a great program!!
Laura was supported by so many friends and family during her performances. She wants to say an individual thank you (yes, she's helping with the post) to everyone who came and saw her: Dad and Sara (every night), Mom, Eliza, Grandma and Grandpa F, Grandma B, Aunt Jen, Joseph, Alex, Kaitlyn, Aunt Tana, Uncle Matt, Missy, JJ, Steph, Larry, Creed, Ollie, Karyn, Lily, Clara, Andrea, Emma, Stacy, Nick, Abby, Tim, Toby, Carter, Abby, Annie, Georgia, Bro & Sis Bullock. Laura is so blessed to have so much love and support. THANK YOU!
Laura did a wonderful job and was tons of fun to watch. Her sisters were enthralled. I think it's just a matter of time before they are all in the plays. Laura loved every second of performing and can't wait to do it all again!

  1. It was so fun to go watch Laura in her "element". And also to watch her sisters watching her. Everyone had a great time and I'm sure this is just the beginning of many plays to come. Good job, Laura!
