Treasure Hunt 2011

My parents hosted their annual grandchildren's treasure hunt over labor day weekend. (Check out previous years HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE) This year it had a Winnie the Pooh theme and was geared towards the littler kids.
They loved the candy and all the fun prizes.
Sara and Laura loved my mom's hand-drawn clues.
EVERYONE loved the stuffed Pooh bears. But, Eliza truly adores hers and is still carrying it everywhere.
We adults loved watching the kids, eating a delicious lunch and spending time together. It was a wonderful event and is one of my kids' - and my - favorite family traditions. Thank you to my folks for putting in all the effort!

  1. It really was a great day. Perfect weather, great food, great company, and fun for all of the little kidos! I agree with Melinda, it's one of my favorite family traditions as well!
