Her actual birthday was spent at Disneyland with us and her other Grandma and Grandpa. It started off, as per her request, at a Character Breakfast. We could not wipe off her face for the special attention she recieved there.
Then we went on her most favorite rides: Soarin', the Carousel, Matterhorn, and Big Thunder Mountain.
Laura also requested we watch both available parades that day. That magic birthday button got her a lot of attention there as well. She was just mezmerized by the cast members coming up to her and many others wishing her a Happy Birthday.
We got her a little present that day of a Minnie Mouse that she can dress up. And J's parents got her an outfit for her. Look at her all decked out on her special day.
We ended the day with her favorite treat at Disney: a HUGE piece of chocolate cake topped by a white chocolate castle.
Laura's grin was huge all day. Nothing is better than to see a smile like that on my precious girl's face.
So adorable! I don't think I've ever seen a child so happy! Good job!
ReplyDeleteWhat a dream birthday! The sound of a big wheel going down the road is definitely a sound of childhood I miss!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Lala. It looks like she had a great day. And who could complain, you were at Disneyland!
ReplyDeleteWow! Can we do all that on MY birthday next year?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad she had such a great time!
