Bean Museum

Andrea and I decided we needed to do something together with the kids this summer. After discussing all our options, we realized neither of us had been to the Bean Museum in years. The price was right, free, so we went!
The kids (Laura, Sara, Eliza, Ashton, Emma, Elina) had a great time checking out all the displays. They loved telling us which animal they liked best, which one had the coolest horns, finding a particular animal in a display, and checking out all the weird and pretty animals.

However, they all mentioned that the best part was being able to touch some animals. They touched a tarantula, lizard, python (named Monty), and tortoise. They were quite brave and really loved getting so close to the animals.

Andrea and I enjoyed getting out, watching the kids learn, taking pictures, and catching up! The Bean museum does some summer programs and I may just look at getting the kids into them next year.
